DOWN TO THE NEW S.A. POUND near Military Dr. Once they have a dog in
their possession, they hold it 48 hours before killing it, even if it
has tags on or is chipped. When you go to the new city pound off 151
make sure to look in all three buildings. They only tell you about two
when you register. There is a third building with quarantine pets that
may have bitten someone. We do not know what are pets are capable of
when they are lost and scared.. DO NOT GIVE UP. People have found their
dogs 3-4 months after they have gone missing, because they did NOT give
up and were faithful in going down there to look in person. Sometimes
well-meaning people pickup a dog and take it out of its' home area to
drop it off at this pound. For directions call 210-207-6650.
Run an ad in the SA Express newspaper. A lot of dogs are re-united through this method.
Go to CRAIGSLIST.COM and look under LOST AND FOUND for San Antonio.
